We offer five requests to people who have incomplete profiles. If you fill out your profile completely, you will be rewarded with fifteen more bookmarks. This will up your count to twenty. This feature is to help encourage new users to fill out their profile. You won't find a friend if you don't put yourself out there!

Nope! You can put anything you want in your profile (real name, gender, pronouns, etc.). If it helps you find a friend, we support it. We just encourage you to exercise caution and don't give anyone super personal information like your address, SSN, etc. Anonmity is an option, not a requirement!

No, we are not your one-stop shop for dating. If you wish to form a relationship with someone then there are other mediums for you. However, we will say that some of the best relationships start out as friendships :)

If you leave your profile blank (no tag, no intro, no drawing, etc.), there is a lower chance of engagement and you will not be searchable in our tag search engine. Moreover, your "Amigu Requests" will be limited back to five.

The "Amigu Requests" system helps you keep track of how many people you've reached out to for conversation. It will show how long ago your message was sent, so you can choose to delete inactive requests. Also, the system prevents bots from spamming multiple people with hello messages. Once an introduction message has been sent, the ability to send another message is removed. Overall, the system is meant to prevent spammers and help you find real, engaging people to talk to.
